New training program of the Groz-Beckert Academy

Albstadt, Germany: Knowledge gives you an advantage. In a time when globalization, shorter product lifecycles and ever more complex products are creating new challenges for companies, more and more specialists and expertise are required to provide a competitive advantage. Detailed process knowledge and a deep understanding of the products are more important than ever. Cooperations and passing on knowledge for developing innovations are therefore also becoming increasingly important. One of the reasons why Groz-Beckert founded the Groz-Beckert Academy in 2012. In 2018, the Groz-Beckert Academy expanded its training program to include a sock knitting technology course.

Having about 300 participants that are representing over 800 companies from about 20 countries, the GTE is India’s largest event that is committed to the apparel technology. Groz-Beckert will be present at GTE with its Sewing division in Hall A, Booth A11.

ShanghaiTex 2017 – trade fair highlights from Groz-Beckert

Albstadt, Deutschland/Shanghai, China: From 27 – 30 November 2017, the textile world will be coming together in Shanghai, China, at the International Textile Machinery Exhibition – or ShanghaiTex for short. In the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, exhibitors will be presenting innovations in their sector from around the world. The focus will be on the application fields experiencing the strongest growth and cross-technology solution approaches. Groz-Beckert is represented with product and service highlights from the fields of Knitting, Weaving and Carding (Hall W1, Booth A40).

Starting Tuesday, June 13th we are conducting a customer satisfaction survey until August 11th, 2017. We have asked the company Forum Mainz to do this for us. They are going to call a group of randomly selected customers.

The Texprocess is the leading international trade fair for the garment-manufacturing and textile-processing industry; the Techtextil for technical textiles and nonwovens. Exhibitors at the Techtextil are presenting their new products under the slogan “Connecting the Future”. Groz-Beckert takes over Aachen producer of sewing machine needles Schmetz

Albstadt/Aachen: Effective 2 January 2017 Groz-Beckert takes over the Ferd. Schmetz Group. The Ferd. Schmetz Group is a long-established producer of industrial sewing machine needles and has around 700 employees worldwide. The acquisition includes the production sites in Germany, Switzerland and India as well as the global distribution network.

India ITME 2016 – Groz-Beckert presents transparent product variety
